Your Feed, Styled Your Way

Many FeedBurner publishers liked our “Browser Friendly” service. You could apply a stylesheet to your feed in a browser, shield visitors from raw XML and, most importantly, make it much easier for your visitor to subscribe to the feed with one click. But with the release of IE7 and FireFox 2.0, publishers found that both browsers ignored the embedded stylesheets and instead presented the feeds using their own display settings. You can now get it back.
To reestablish your Browser Friendly stylesheet, click “Optimize” and then “Browser Friendly”, and check the box marked “Always use my selected landing page in all browsers”. From now on, when visitors follow a link to your feed in a browser, they will see the original stylesheet. In addition, we added a new feature with this upgrade to Browser Friendly: the ability to decide which aggregators you include in the one-click subscription window.
