Episode #16: St. Patrick the Podcaster

Listen (12.4MB, 13:32)

About the Producer

Liam Hughes and Corey Taratuta launched their first Irish Fireside podcast as a pre-trip orientation for friends who were visiting their cottage in County Tipperary, Ireland. They quickly found there was a much larger audience for their off-the-beaten-path tips for Irish travel, and in February 2006 they formally launched www.IrishFireside.com.

When not talking about Ireland, Corey works as writer and designer at Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin. Liam spends his summer operating Knockahopple Cottage, a B&B and touring service in Ireland. His winters are spent producing jewelry from shards of broken dishes.

Show Notes

In this special St. Patrick’s Day edition of the FeedBurner Podcast, Corey and Liam of the Irish Fireside Podcast ponder “What if St. Patrick had been a podcaster?” Tune in for an interview with a 300-pound leprechaun, a delectable recipe for corned beef and cabbage pizza, and some advice for making the leap from merely considering doing a podcast to actually doing it.
