All Wired up
Back in the early '90s, when many of us were impressionable young college students, we got our hands on the first issue of Wired. In those days, we weren't even sure this Internet thing was here to stay. But here was a magazine that was different. Stories about cell phone hacking. Military technology. They published the authors' email addresses. We were hooked.
So it's pretty great that all these years later, we get to report that Wired News is running its feeds through FeedBurner. Like other publishers who use FeedBurner's advanced analytics to measure their audience, better understand feed consumption, and build their online community, Wired News is leveraging the full suite of FeedBurner services to make feeds more integral to their content strategy.
As a part of the FeedBurner Ad Network, Wired News is already generating revenue, and is using FeedBurner services like FeedFlare to survey its audience to gain greater insight into its audience demographics. For those who think Wired News is just tech news (their tech headlines feed *is* great), you're missing out on some of the best original reporting on Culture, Politics, Games and more on the web. Read more about this news in today's press release.

Nice to see Wired using FeedBurner. :) It does provide a mile more of information about your subscribers!
Congratulations on WIRED. The fact that your company has so many big guys using your service really proves how great a utility Feedburner is. I use it for multiple feeds of mine.
Just one bit of constructive feedback, can you please make Feedburner feeds work in Gmail? Some of my family members are slow learners, to put it nicely. The most they know about RSS are the Web Clips in Gmail and it's shame that they can't subscribe to my blog feed.
Keep up the good work!
Hey Simran,
You certainly should be able to add FeedBurner feeds to GMail's Web Clips capability; can you let us know about any feed you have that doesn't seem to work with that service? Please send any additional details via email to feedback AT feedburner.com. Someone on our support staff will be able to investigate.
Another way to get your feed into their Inbox even more directly is our free Email Subscriptions service; they can sign up for email updates that are powered by your feed. This is a great way to get them your latest content without requiring direct use of the feed.
Oh, I didn't know that. I'll just email your support staff.
Yeah, I know about email subscriptions too. The thing is that I unsubscribed a bunch of people when I switched from FeedBlitz to Feedburner.
