The Feedsparks widget was updated this morning to support some of this newly free functionality.

Feedsparks is a widget for iGoogle (or the sidebar of your blog) which will show historical graphs (sparklines) for several Awareness API-enabled FeedBurner feeds.

There's now an option to display "reach" for feeds with the Pro statistics enabled.

It'll get an update to support MyBrand feeds soon.

OK - This is great. But boy do we need better stats! Monthly view is ok but imagine adding the reporting skills from Google Analytics to Feedburner feeds. Like printing how many item downloads for items over a variable date range :)

What happens to the subscribers who are already subscribed to http://feeds.feedburner.com/mydomain? Will the change be transparent to them? Does their feed continue to function correctly? Will your feed stats be negatively affected by the change, i.e. will FeedBurner continue to track Blogger/Blogspot, FeedBurner and MyBrand subscribers?

Yep, it'll be completely transparent to anyone subscribed to the direct, original FeedBurner feed address. This address and the MyBrand address are one and the same in terms of the actual feed they access. Your feed stats will account for all access to your feed, regardless of whether it's redirected from an original address on your site, via MyBrand, or via direct subscription to that FeedBurner access. All roads lead to your content.

I've been using google for a long while now and it's great news that google is involved, but does this mean that feedburner's competitors are going to find it too difficult to compete?

Cool stuff, anything that anlyse full stats to the max is always great.
