Ziff Davis Brings the Feeds, We Bring the Matches
When the technology publishers come a' callin', the phones ring off the hook. Today, we're happy to announce the immediate availability of a whole slew of awesome technology and gaming content from the fine people at Ziff Davis. From PC Magazine to eWeek, 1Up.com to Extreme Tech, these publications join the likes of other well-known technology properties that have been FeedBurned (Wired, IDG, ars technica, TechTarget and so on and so forth). There is a lot of tech content bubbling over on the FeedBurner platform.
Ziff Davis is diving right in. Their online publications are tapping into that wonderful world of distributed media -- look how eWeek is using FeedFlare to include item-specific links such as "Digg This" and "Add to del.icio.us" in its content, driving increased awareness of their content and deeper engagement with their audience.
This isn't just about adding cool features to their feeds -- Ziff Davis is working with us to monetize their content. In addition to using the FeedBurner Ad Network, they're also working with their sales team to place ads for their own advertisers who want to reach Ziff Davis's loyal feed audience. Ziff Davis is using FeedFoundry, which means that their sales team gets a better idea of how many impressions are available to sell each month, management can better forecast advertising revenue, and the operations team gets an enterprise-class front-end to all the goodness that is FeedBurner feed management. Hot stuff!
The Ziff Davis formal announcement thingy can be found here. If you want to learn more about the advertising inventory available for purchase (technology or otherwise), get in touch with our ad team. And if you haven't yet burned your feeds and want help with your content strategy, we're here to help.
