I love the SmartFeed function that FeedBurner provides. When I give out my feed address, I know it'll be accessible from any browser, podcatcher, or news aggregator software. So everyone can tune in to the podcast. Much love for FeedBurner!" - Simon and the team at musiccanteen.com, the music download site for independent musicians 2/22/06

The FeedBurner Mobile Feed Reader 1.0

We're proud to announce the release of The FeedBurner Mobile Feed Reader 1.0 which in this release supports Java MIDP 2.0 devices, including the Sony Ericsson P900, the Nokia 6600, with more supported devices to come. We will also soon be releasing versions for the Palm and MIDP 1.0 devices.

For a specific feed on new releases, issues and upcoming features for our mobile readers, subscribe to the MFR Support Feed

If you are a publisher, and want to get your feed into the list of default feeds that ship with our mobile readers, all you need to do is burn a new version of your feed that uses the "Mobile Burner" service. We'll be watching...but if you want to give us a gentle nudge, send an email to feedback.

In this release, the shareware version allows unlimited use of feeds published through FeedBurner, and up to four feeds from outside sources. The registered version is unlimited on all fronts and will get some more premium features in upcoming versions.
